How HPE LTO technology can help save energy

Data storage is rapidly changing with the evolution of cloud computing, AI, big data, and the expansion of 5G networks. We are witnessing the creation of unprecedented volumes of content that needs to be managed and stored, which in turn is leading to renewed focus on the environmental impact of digital storage. By using HPE StoreEver LTO technology, you can reduce your carbon footprint, improve sustainability and reduce your expenses.

HPE StoreEver MSL library energy consumption calculator

The primary goal of this MSL Power Calculator has is to give you approximate details for the electrical load of redundant and failover modes to help with your facilities planning.  The tool is not meant to provide precise results, however, because of the many variables involved.  If you need precise power electrical loads, measurements should be made on the actual hardware being configured and in the setting in which it will be used.

A race against climate change

Nick Hollis is an international mountaineer who's seen our impact on the natural world first-hand. He's set a world record attempt to promote environmental responsibility and raise funds for the conservation of our planet's most precious resource: its rainforests. To complete the 721 Challenge Nick will climb the Seven Summits, ski the North and South Poles and row the Atlantic Ocean in world record speed. He has already climbed the highest mountain on every continent, completing the 7 summits, now he has just two more challenges to go in this race against climate change.

"721 Challenge is about making as much noise around global warming as possible. Everyone coming on board is interested in protecting our planet, whether it's companies that want to make a change or individuals looking for an opportunity to do something positive, Join us in conserving threatened habitats and wildlife. Join us in our race against climate change."
